Whilst the idea of speaking to an object to operate it has been around for a while, and has been proven successful (S-Voice, Iris, Siri, Hal etc), interaction with objects using motion was only really broken into with the Nintendo Wii, furthermore with the Xbox Kinect, requiring no remote.

Incorporating complex gesture recognition into everyday household objects is something that quite honestly excites me. Watch.
